Call for Abstracts .
Submit your abstract to present your work.
The EA4HP-SH 2024 Scientific Committee is accepting abstracts on the continually evolving field of haematopathology. Abstract submission opens on 1 February 2024.
The submission deadline is 16 May 2024, 23:59 (CET).
We welcome you to start preparing your abstract under one of the following categories:
Lymphoma Symposium
The lymphoma symposium will be devoted to “overlaps, borderlines and mimics”. It will explore how an understanding of lymphoma biology is key to pathological classification and impacts on the development and choice of treatment options. During the symposium, special emphasis will be given to the clinical implications of basic and translational research and of differential diagnostic dilemmas. Topics to be discussed will include high grade/aggressive B-cell lymphoma, classical and nodular lymphocyte-rich Hodgkin lymphoma, mediastinal lymphoma and their mimics and surrounding grey areas. There will also be a session on immune surveillance and escape, and their relevance to borderline and overlapping areas in lymphoma pathology. We are actively, but not exclusively, seeking abstracts that will complement these topics. Original research in any area of lymphoid malignancy will also be considered, for platform presentation during our “recent advances” session or for display and discussion in our “poster sessions”.
Abstract submission Subject Headings
- Clonal lymphoid haematopoiesis
- Epigenetics in lymphomagenesis
- Lymphoproliferations associated with germline abnormalities
- New frontiers in the treatment of lymphoma
- Recent Advances
Bone Marrow Symposium
The bone marrow symposium will be focused on “overlaps, borderlines and mimics” of myeloid neoplasms aiming to understand how a proper integration of morphological, clinical and molecular data is essential in reaching a correct diagnosis and to guide treatment decision. Topics to be discussed will include paediatric myeloid neoplasms and related disorders, acute myeloid leukaemia of ambiguous lineage or difficult to classify and adult myelofibrotic myeloid neoplasms.
Abstract submission Subject Headings
- Paediatric myeloid neoplasmneoplasms and related diseases
Notification of Acceptance
The abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the scientific committee. Notifications will be sent to the authors via email.
